The Executive Career Management (ECM) Agency is one of those creations. What started out as a way to help executives, their families, and even colleagues, has grown to become a complete suite of industry-leading executive career advising services.
Developments more than a decade ago set our path. As JMJ Phillip, the premier boutique executive search group, began to capitalize on growth opportunities in the market, so did the company’s executive network. That network of executives, many of whom befriended the executive search consultants at the firm, often came to JMJ Phillip for advice. What we realized was that, for example, while a Chief Financial Officer may be good at running financial operations at a company, they are usually terrible at writing resumes, interviewing, understanding the best way to navigate the career ladder, and determining which job is the next best step for them.
For the executives who were already strong at some of the administrative aspects of the job search, we found that oftentimes all that was needed the opportunity to consult with someone who spends 2200 hours a year dealing with other peoples’ careers and bounce ideas back and forth. And ideas bounce off us rather well, as this is what we do all day, everyday!

In the past many of the services we offer today were offered here-and-there to executive search clients without charge. All we ever asked was that if one of our executive search consultants needed a strong candidate referral from a client’s network that they return the favor.
While that worked for some time – as we never thought about selling these services – the demand became overwhelming.
Come to find out many executives, both those wanting to become an executive and even those Fortune 500 executives wanted a top-notch, modern resume. Many have interviewed hundreds of candidates but they are rusty at interviewing when it came to a job for themselves. And many simply wanted some research done to find out if relocation was a smart idea, if the compensation package they were being offered was fair, and whether “this is where I should finish out my career?”
And that leads us to today, where we now offer executive resume writing, interview coaching and executive career management services.
Our services are delivered through Employment BOOST, another JMJ Phillip Holdings company that focuses on both the B2C and B2B career services market. While the Certified Professional Resume Writers (CPRW) and Career Coaches at Employment BOOST deliver the services, the firm works closely with the executive search consultants from more than a half dozen JMJ Phillip brands and leverages an in-house research team to deliver real-time knowledge to help in your executive career decision-making process.
